My Story

In professional work, I have accumulated broad experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and event planning for major national and regional corporations, as well as with small local community organizations and non-profits.

My personal passion is for social causes that strive to make the world better for the next generation. Two grassroots organizations I personally support are Surfrider Foundation and The Shooting Touch Foundation.  Surfrider aims to maintain public access to beaches and coastal vistas while furthering legislation to keep our delicate natural water system free of pollutants and overuse. Shooting Touch is the Basketball Peace Corps, and furthers the development of social and health programs in Rwanda through the sport of basketball.

In life, I aim to constantly improve myself and those around me through my values in honesty, integrity, self-motivation, and teamwork. We are all in this together, so let’s treat life like the wonderful gift it is to us.

I am a graduate of Ithaca College where I studied Sports Information and Communication and became interested in advertising and digital media. During my time as an undergrad, I spent the spring semester of 2005 interning with the Boston Celtics in their Marketing Services department. This experience molded my future career path by showing me that a full-time job could be a fun-time job. Little did I know that those unpaid, sometimes 60-hour weeks, would be an eight year career for me.
